Samsung G810 shipping next week
Carphone Warehouse only
Samsung’s ‘infotainment’ handset, also known as the G810, will be available next week – according to Carphone Warehouse.

Samsung's G810: sports a 2.6in display
The stainless steel slider phone made its debut at the Mobile World Congress show in Barcelona last February, but Samsung neglected to provide a release date for the handset. Carphone Warehouse has since come up trumps and stated that it’s planning to release the phone on 14 April.

A five-megapixel snapper is included
Register Hardware has already reported [1] that the handset has a 2.6in screen, used for displaying pictures snapped on the five-megapixel camera that’s built into the Symbian OS S60 phone.

Shine-like
The camera has a 3x optical zoom and is paired with a xenon flash for badly light snapping situations, and face-detection software. Your various snapping locations can also be tagged using the on-board GPS.
Connectivity wise, the tri-band handset provides up to 3.6Mb/s HSDPA 3G connections, with GSM, GPRS and Edge also built in.
Carphone Warehouse hasn’t said how much Samsung’s G810 will cost.
