I have been reading about this machine by ION that can copy VHS tapes to the PC so that they can be saved on DVDs. The question is, will it defeat Macrovision copy protections?

I can't find a straight answer to this. I've got a bunch of kid's movies that I would like to put on DVD. Will the ION do it?
