Mark Friend of the BBC said in offcial blog that punters must download the shows through iPlayer and over a Wi-Fi connection, but there was no specific mention made to the iPhone 3G. Friend added that the availability of BBC radio shows on-demand to iPhone and iPod Touch users is thanks to the organisation’s “future media teams,” who’ve adapted audio formats to suit the Apple devices. It was also mentioned that the BBC plans to start rolling out radio on-demand to other portable devices soon, but exactly which devices hasn't been mentioned. 10 comments posted — Comment period finished WOWPosted: 13:51 24th September 2008 yippeeeee!Posted: 14:49 24th September 2008 Edge?Posted: 15:25 24th September 2008 Nice...Posted: 17:22 24th September 2008 Generic MP3 Players..Posted: 08:55 25th September 2008
