The network operator, together with digital publisher GoSpoken.com, has launched Books on Mobile (BoM), a service that lets Vodafone customers download either e-books from their favourite authors. The BoM service is bound to be a hit with anyone looking for ways to avoid carrying heavy books around. But we reckon the Kindle and Reader's E Ink screen is much easier on the eyes than your average phone display. Nonetheless, Vodafone’s BoM service is available from today for Vodafone customers. Book downloads are priced at between £5 (£6/$8) and £15 (£19/$26), and are added to you monthly bill. 5 comments posted — Comment period finished Ahead of its TimePosted: 18:34 6th October 2008 SmartPhonePosted: 08:58 7th October 2008 £5-£15 a book?????!!!!!Posted: 12:46 7th October 2008 PatheticPosted: 11:36 8th October 2008 Books in my phonePosted: 07:05 10th October 2008 |
